Service Desk Coordinator & Tier 1 Support, Nova Scotia
This position is responsible for providing first level technical and ticket support to users calling the technical support line. S/he is also responsible for the overall coordination of requests including: updating support documentation, reporting related information to technical support team, and following up on issues to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner. Providing excellent client service in all interactions is a key component of this role.
Summary of Responsibilities

Act as first point of contact for all incoming technical support calls, perform initial analysis and serve as the primary owner of issues and follow up to full resolution

Investigate problems for root causes and propose appropriate options and solutions for resolution

Assist in the development and implementation of a standardized process and system for reporting and resolution of technical support tickets/ calls

Track issues, report on metrics, and identify trends and areas for improvement to current support tools

Required Qualifications

Junior Accountant, Nova Scotia
Reporting to and working under the direction of the Controller, the Junior Accountant performs tasks to establish and maintain employee and payroll records. S/he must be able to professionally interact with senior executives, external suppliers, and a team to accomplish goals in a timely manner maintaining attention to detail, efficiency, and innovation in results.
Summary of Responsibilities

(Process accounts payable (online Bill Pay, manual checks, wires, EFTs, invoices) and month-end close (journal entries, cash transactions, bank reconciliations)

Maintain bookkeeping records and ledgers and fixed asset documentation credit card expense allocations, and check deposits preparation and procedures documentation

Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll, including preparation and review of payroll data utilizing an electronic timekeeping and automated payroll systems

Check and audit timekeeping records for compliance with company policies

Assist with processing and administration of expense reports and review of leases and other documentation

Maintain and update payroll records, using computer

Assist with managing various provincial/state and federal tax filings and inquiries

Executive Assistant, Business Development
The Executive Assistant, Business Development (EA) provides senior administrative support to one or more executive level staff and supports other business development staff and management as necessary. The EA professionally interacts with senior executives, external contacts, other units, and a team to accomplish goals in a timely manner maintaining attention to detail, efficiency, and innovation in results. S/he acts as a point of contact for business development initiatives or potential projects both in person and over the phone.
Summary of Responsibilities

Conduct market research/ business intelligence using a variety of primary and secondary information sources (IMS data, industry databases, web etc.)

Exercise sound judgment in pre-qualifying potential business development opportunities considering proposals or informal propositions and dispersing information appropriately

Director, Strategic Business Development
Reporting to the CTO and EVP, Business Development, this position is responsible for identifying, developing, channelling, and securing non-sales related, new strategic business opportunities through strategic relationship management and successful partnerships with external and internal parties. S/he interacts with senior management frequently and collaborates effectively with all levels of management and staff to achieve business objectives, working with the Sales and Marketing units as necessary.
